The weather has been glorious over the UK for the past few days and we have some fantastic batik fabrics to match the mood. Over twenty new batiks as well as three fat quarter packs.

Hoffman Bali Pops

Hoffman Bali Pops contain 40 lovely Hoffman Batik prints cut to 2 1/22 strips. So they are are similar in format to Moda's Jelly Rolls. We have six new Bali Pops to choose from Cherry, Blueberry, Water Melon, Key Lime, Plum Pudding and Coconut.

Batik Fabrics and Batik Fat Quarter Packs

Citrus Punch Batiks Fat Quarter Pack

Settle down on the beach with a nice fruit or citrus punch in the shape of our two latest batik fat quarter packs. Limes, oranges and lemons make up the citrus punch, whilst fruit punch features blueberries, raspberries, plums and strawberries. Some of the batik fabrics feature embellishment with a chain stitch in a variegated cotton thread. As well as the two fat quarter packs of eight fabrics there are twenty four fabrics to purchase by the metre.

Latest Patchwork Fabrics

Two very different fabric ranges have been added to the website. There are 24 new Thimbleberries fabrics from Lynette Jensen. The Lodge & Lakeside fabrics are in country shades of Blues, Greens, Reds and Browns, with a variety of designs from but many with a floral theme.

The Arizona range of Batiks meanwhile feature a fossil leaf and dotted circle motif to bring variety to the warmer batik palette.

New Items over the last month

There has been a number of new items added to the Cotton Patch site over the last month.

Firstly I have made a new area for Amy Butler fabrics, books and patterns. There are some new bag patterns, the Midwest Modern range and we also have the Nigella range of home decor weight fabrics. There are three books by Amy including the new title 'Little Stitches for Little Ones' that I mean to dip into for my new little one. See also Ellie and Liz's Amy sewathon

We have expanded our range of batik fabrics with sixteen new fabrics with the By the Pool and Streaks and Splodges ranges.

There are also sixteen new Oriental style fabrics with the Shanghai Gold and Kyoto Garden ranges

For a cute little project we have a new kit from Rachels of Greenfield called Baby Bear.

There are lots more products in the pipeline with Kaffe Fasset kits and fabrics, some wondeful new Free Spirit fabrics, new notions from Clover, new books and Calendars for 2009. We also have a major project that we are all working very hard on for the website.

New Batik Fabrics

Our extensive Batik fabric range has been further enhanced with eight new Batiks (refs 1697 1-8). From burnt orange to deep blues, these Benartex fabrics are deep and vibrant colours.
