Dan Bennett Patchwork Fabrics for Rowan

Fat Quarter Pack Wild Garden Q2624
Coats Crafts present a new collection of Rowan fabrics created by talented Brighton-based artist Dan Bennett. The new designs are inspired by nature and pre-history.

The intriguing inspiration for Dan Bennett's Wild Garden collection comes from Dan’s interest in the ancient geometric symbols carved into stone by prehistoric man. Says Dan, “The dots, spirals, zigzags, meandering lines, arcs and grids are a primal pan-global language which I have adapted to describe flora and fauna in my paintings.”

Dan Bennett was born in Kent in 1975, and currently lives and works in Brighton. He was awarded a full art scholarship to Epsom College in 1988, and in 1998 gained a 2:1 BA Fine Art degree from Leeds University.
