Melissa White Fabrics - Fairlyte Garden

New Fabrics from Melissa White for Rowan Fabrics. Fairlyte Garden features big designs with flowers, birds and butterflys in evidence. Melissa is famous for her distressed artwork recreating in particular Elizabethan Interiors and often works with a fresco technique. With fabric designs such as bug hunt, fritillary wings and blossom swirl this is a Fairlyte rather than Fairytale Garden.

Black and White Patchwork Fabrics

Black and white patchwork fabrics are always popular but always hard to find. We have eight new fabrics with our Ebony and Ivory range from Benartex. Four designs in reverse colourways of black and white.

Floral Patchwork Fabrics

Quilters Dream Orient Wadding is a luxurious blend of velvety Bamboo, luscious silk, strong silky Tencel® and soft stable Cotton. Dream Orient's natural environmentally friendly fibers are carded, crosslapped and finely needlepunched to bring you the most desirable qualities of softness, strength, warmth and breathability. The elegant silky soft drape makes Dream Orient a batting beyond compare!
Machine wash and dry with cool water/cool dryer - shrinkage approximately 3%. You can stitch up to 8" apart.
Bamboo - is a velvety soft, absorbent fiber with unique antibacterial qualities. Bamboo is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Silk - the strongest natural fiber in existence has always stood for quality and elegance. Dream Orient contains high quality Tussah 'Peace' silk, which is stronger and more resilient than white silk..

Botanic Tencel® - is made from environmentally friendly eucalyptus wood pulp derived from sustainable tree farms. Tenciel® is exceptionally strong, resilient and resistant to wrinkles, yet so soft it is often referred to as imitation silk.

Cotton - is a natural fully renewable fiber that is soft, breathable and a traditional fiber used throughout generations. Dream Orient uses only the high grade cleaned upland USA cotton for durability and quality for the most discriminating quilters.

Our latest Newsletter featured lots and lots of new Charm packs and these have kept Ken, our expert fabric cutter, even busier than usual. Cuddle Quilt Kits

Cuddle fabric is an irrestistibly soft, textured 100% polyester fabric that has to be touched to be believed! We have six packaged Cuddle Kits with enough fabrics to complete the quilt top. We also have three Cuddle fabrics available by the metre to complete the backing and binding. Please note these quilts are not recommended for babies.

New Mighty Bright Lights

Mighty Bright 12 LED Floor Magnifier. Ref: 10334

We have five new lights from Might Bright to help light up your craft world.

The largest Mighty Bright so far is the Mighty Bright 12 LED Floor Magnifier; a light-plus-magnifier, floor-standing model that provides ample light and image enhancement for crafters and hobbyists who need their hands free. This sturdy unit features a heavy duty gooseneck that is remarkably easy to adjust; bend it to work at tabletop height or extend it fully to 54" for workshop projects. Twelve powerful LEDs (grouped in threes) encircle the viewing area which features a 2x magnifying lens with a 5x bifocal inset. A unique system of reflectors further intensifies its light output. Assembly is tool-free, and its power button and handle are conveniently large and easy to use. Optional battery power makes this one of the only floor lamps you can tote around the house and workshop without hunting for the nearest mains outlet. It’s well suited for leisurely moments, too. Set up near your favorite chair and position the lens over your lap to brighten and enlarge reading, writing, knitting, and any other task you find difficult without a magnifier.

Another innovative light from Mighty Bright is this 2 LED USB light. It plugs directly into the USB port of your computer or laptop and uses power from your laptop. Great for when you are on the go and need to light up your screen to see your keyboard or screen.

Finally we have the Vusion 2 which is a larger version of our popular Vusion light which combines a goose neck LED light system with a goose neck magnifier. The Vusion 2 fetaures 6 LED lights for even greater brightness.
